About the Braeburn :
The Braeburn Apple has a sweet flavor balanced
with a moderate tartness that produces a unique
blend. The texture is crisp and firm and juicy. The
under color is yellowish green and is shaded by a
broadly red-striped color pattern.
Braeburn apples are an old-fashioned sweet apple
with a smooth and crisp texture. It's great for
snacks and salads. It is a late season apple with a
long storage life. Its eating qualities make it
adaptable for cooking as well as fresh use.

Please note:
Your region's climate determines the type of fruit
trees and fruit that will grow successfully. The
climate must be compatible with the growing
requirements of the selected fruit tree. Some
varieties will even prevail in the harsher Upper
Midwest climates. Most fruit trees require between
130 - 150 frost-free days. If you are unsure as to
how many frost-free days your climate has, please
contact your local county extension office. |
