About the Lapin :
The Lapin Cherry fruit is large and deep purple
in color with lighter red flesh. The Lapin Cherry,
(la-PAHN), the french word for "rabbit", is a big,
beautiful, dark red cherry. These are some of the
largest, juciest cherries that grow on trees.
They are great for snacking, and so big, one
cherry is a mouthful! The skin is bright in
appearance and it is split resistant due to flexible
skin. The Lapin is an excellent pollinator and is a
heavy bearer.

Please note:
Your region's climate determines the type of fruit
trees and fruit that will grow successfully. The
climate must be compatible with the growing
requirements of the selected fruit tree. Some
varieties will even prevail in the harsher Upper
Midwest climates. Most fruit trees require between
130 - 150 frost-free days. If you are unsure as to
how many frost-free days your climate has, please
contact your local county extension office |
